The project was constructed to treat groundwater in the Los Angeles Basin that was contaminated with high
Total Dissolve Solids by seawater intrusion. The project incorporates a 2.5 mgd Reverse Osmosis system which is expandable to 5.0 mgd to convert brackish groundwater into a useable water source.
Capacity: 2.5 mgd
Technology: Reverse Osmosis
SPI Role:
SPI provided the detailed design of the reverse osmosis system, construction administration, startup support, operations support, control system integration, O&M manual development and training for the RO process.
